Jamia Masjid
Jamia masjid is the main mosque of Chichawatni. It is the biggest mosque of Chichawatni. It is situated in block #12. It was built since before the separation of Pakistan with India. Recently, its building is reconstructed and renovated .Its construction is completed in September 2008. This mosque is now one of the beautiful mosques of the world. The amount of five crores and fifty lacs has been spent on its reconstruction. The management of this mosque includes:
Mr.Akhtar Dogar, Mr.Javed Munir, Mr.Mirza Arshad and Mr.Sheikh Hafeez.
The imam's responsibilities are done by Qari Ilahi Bakhsh. Molana Irshad Ahamd is the Khateeb of this mosque.
Not only this mosque is an religious icon of namazis but it has also has a madrassa in it. The principal of this madrassa is Molana Irshad Ahmad. To assist him in this religious obligation 13 other teachers are there. About 100 students are now getting religious knowledge from this madrassa. Many students have completed their education from this madrassa. Inshort, this mosque is not only a place to pray, but also an important place to gain knowledge. Many people have been benefited in different social and economical problems also. A place like this mosque should be worth appreciated that is serving thhe muslim community as well as other to make them a better muslim and a good human being.
